From memory you came 7th a year ago. Nice course.
A brickfilm is a whole, it must have a personality, an atmosphere, a strong concept. Your brickfilm had that.
The jury can sometimes be seduced by the nostalgia of a title with a lot of memories or a brickfilmer whose perfect mastery is no longer up for discussion. But we avoid this.
In a real festival, the winners are never known in advance. There are always surprises, unexpected brickfilm nuggets that catch the attention of the jury. We pay much more attention to the details of an entry that absolutely masters the animation technique and leave a chance to the less mastered animation but that has a soul.

For all participants, you can read the jury's comments in the comment area of your brickfilm. These comments will help you to make the perfect brickfilm next year.

Holy cowabunga in a handbasket! I do not even remember entering. This is incredible, thank you so much guys. It's insane to think I've placed among literally any of these other winners (and entrants). All of these people are so talented and inspire me to make the stuff I do.
